I am currently researching and exploring alternatives to our current selection process for public art. We usually make selections by committees of 3-5 individuals that involves a 1st round (selection of 3 finalists from pool of submissions), and a final round of presentations by the selected finalists. The committee then votes on the proposal they believe is best for the project. 

Does your city use a different selection process? If so, what is it?
