Here is an interesting Public Art Call for South Florida artists.

 

 

Introduction:
Broward Cultural Division's Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission a professional visual artist or artist team to design and install an exterior surface treatment for a highly visible outdoor space at Port Everglades located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Project Location: PORT EVERGLADES
Southeast corner of 19
th Avenue & Eller Drive
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

 

Deadline Date: April 26, 2024

Total Project Budget:
$33,500.00

Eligibility: Professional hardscape/landscape artists residing in Broward County, Miami-Dade County, Martin County, Palm Beach County, or Monroe County with experience creating designs for hardscape or landscape are invited to apply.

The selected artist should have experience working with similar projects within the right of way and in executing their ideas through to completion. Artists with experience meeting deadlines and working within the allotted budget are encouraged to apply.

improve Broward County's visual environment and advance the mission of County agencies within which the artworks are located.
