Hi -
I have a question forwarded from me from one of our municipal arts commissions:
We are trying to work with the city to get access to "temporary" but fixed, signage locations
around town, to help promote arts & cultural events. Right now it is challenging to get any type of poster/signage because there is no ordinance allowing for it. Only real estate and construction signage is allowed on buildings/lamp posts/etc.
I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this is and, if so, if and how you’ve successfully negotiated for promotional signage privileges, or if you’ve come up with creative
solutions that don’t violate signage ordinances?
Thank you for your help!
