FYI, attached is the most recent Public Art Ordinance of the City of Jacksonville-actually revised last year, but not all of our revision requests went through.

Some issues with it, besides being less than a full one percent for art, involve how to adequately fund public art administrative staff, how to get public art in parks and on trails (non-vertical structures), how to get enough maintenance money for pre-existing maintenance issues, how to get a provision for private developer percentage, how to better protect artists' rights and how to establish a master art plan.

I would be interested in seeing your final ordinance following your research.
