Hello Jimena:

The Public Art Archive includes a number of examples of projects that fit into this category.

I’ve linked to a few works located at crosswalks here. Additionally, you may want to search PAA for works placed at intersections, streets, roadsides, etc. You can do so by using the browse options on PAA for placement types - there’s a plethora of wonderful examples of public art throughout the world you can reference.

Best,

Hello,

This is my first time here.
Does anyone
know of any
examples of public art projects f
or
traffic calming
/safety?
I am working on a project that is looking to

promote pedestrian safety, enhance walkability
 and wayfinding
, and create welcoming environments for pedestrians within
a popular neighborhood in DC
.
Note that this area
is used by a
significant number of people over 65, children walking to/from schools, and tourists.

I'd really appreciate any

help you could provide me
. Thanks
 for your time and help
