Port Everglades - Cruise Terminal 25 Exterior Artwork

In partnership with Port Everglades, located in Broward County, Florida, Broward Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission one artist or artist team (Artist) to design, fabricate and install exterior artwork(s) for the Grand Plaza of Cruise Terminal 25. Broward County’s Port Everglades will be investing more than $100 million for a complete makeover of Cruise Terminal 25, which will continue to be a preferential berth for Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd. (RCCL). This facility meets the requirements for the new generations of larger cruise ships. The artwork shall take its inspiration from the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines ship, Celebrity EdgeSM.

Budget: $125,000

Port Everglades Cruise Roadway Project
Due: February 19, 2018

In partnership with Port Everglades, Broward County, Florida, Broward Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design Program is seeking to commission one artist or artist team (Artist) to transform an empty traffic circle located on Eller Drive, in Port Everglades. The art will be viewed from vehicular traffic, nearby parking facility and 3 major cruise terminals and it may be viewed by passengers on docked cruise vessels and passing vessels. It is envisioned that the cruise roadway artwork will add an artistic ambience to the area and could become an iconic symbol of Port Everglades.

Budget: $200,000
