Hi Robin,
The Maryland State Arts Council passed percent-for-art legislation in 2013. All new state capitol construction projects are eligible for public art (except garages, maintenance bldgs, non-public bldgs.)
We also fund public art grants to County Arts Councils and Arts & Entertainment Districts on an annual basis. This year MSAC is celebrating its 50th Anniversary and we initiated the Public Art Across Maryland program to fund projects in all 24 counties that apply. NASAA has data on all SAA public art programs. Come to the NASAA conference next November - we're hosting in Baltimore!  Happy to chat further offline.
Thanks,
Liesel

Greetings~

We are interested in hearing from state art agencies and regional support organizations that provide grants for public art programs.

The public art projects the Arkansas Arts Council currently supports are limited to planning grants.

Please share with me any opportunities your funding agency may provide for public art.

Thanks!

Robin
