Ronda,
Here is a link to the packet for developers with a copy of the ordinance, application, process charts, FAQ’s, etc. I hope this helps. https://www.cityofpaloalto.

Subject: Seeking examples of public art required in private development
Hello All,
I’m looking for existing models of incorporating public art into private development.
I’m working with our planning department on their effort to revitalize a major street corridor here in Kent, WA. Their consultant developed design standards for both private development and public right of way throughout the corridor. Those standards make very brief mention of public art being required and now our planners are turning to me/the Arts Commission to help develop and articulate the vision and standards for artwork moving forward. (Of course, it would have been nice to have an artist doing a master plan in conjunction with the design standards, not after, but that’s not how it happened.) While we have an active public art program, we haven’t had experience incorporating public art into private development.
Does anyone have examples that specifically outline how developers are required to incorporate art into their projects and how the government entity engages in the process?
Kind Regards,
Ronda

HelloWe were a venue for an installation of Konstantin Dimopoulos Blue Trees at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It was in partnership with the City of Mississauga's public art department. The tree painting was offered as a staff engagement opportunity - the weather was perfect and we had very good participation. The event took place in September 2016 and the trees are still blue, in spite of rain and 2 winters of snow.http://kondimopoulos.com/the-blue-trees/ Regards,LeeOn Tue, Feb 6, 2018 at 4:22 PM, Deirdre Ehlen <Dehlen@arlingtonva.us> wrote:
