Thank you for your question.  I’m enjoying seeing all of the photos of other Public Art that celebrates trees!

Willow Tree by Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot:  Mirrored by the water in which it stands, a Willow Tree rises along the lakeside promenade of Grand Prairie Central Park just outside The Summit, 2975 Esplanade. Arching stainless steel branches hold 80,000 mother-of-pearl leaves that shimmer silvery green, changing with the light, reflecting on the water’s surface to evoke the impressionistic paintings of Claude Monet.  This tree celebrates the relationship between the water and the willow, which likes a wet foot.  Early pioneers could often find water by looking for Willow Trees.

Hi Everyone!

I am researching precedent temporary or permanent projects that celebrate and honor trees. Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks!
