Hello PAN Colleagues!

We are struggling with our permitting process for artworks here in Santa Monica, particularly with temporary artworks and placemaking enhancements in the right-of-way. Standard Encroachment, Use of Public Property, or Temporary Structures permits are too onerous for these artworks and budget sizes. Does anyone out there have an artwork permit or similar that they might be willing to share? Extra points if it is in California! We are hoping to find a precedent that we can refer to for this type of permit.
