So many wonderful projects related to trees!!

I would also add the Tree Museum, 2009-10) by Katie Holten along the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.

As one of the commissioners (along with the Bronx Museum and the Parks Department) I’m happy to provide more info.  Sadly there is noting on our websites.
Katie also has a number of other tree related projects.

Gabriela Albergaria has been an artist in residence at a number of gardens and is now based in london.

Hugh Hayden recently installed a bench made from repurposed trees in Inwood Hill Park in NYC near where I live.  He’s a wonderful artist who I’ve worked with on other nature relatedf projects.

Merian Soto is a choreographer of Branch Dances, based in Philadelphia, great to work with for an experience of trees.

Hi Everyone!

I am researching precedent temporary or permanent projects that celebrate and honor trees. Any ideas would be helpful! Thanks!
