Here’s a few recent projects from the Los Angeles area:
·
Los Angeles County Arts Commission Civic Art held a competition to re-imagine free-standing ADUs:

·
Midnight Mission / Homeward LA project:
"Homeward LA" is a new, 10-day countywide event (April 13 to April 22) where multiple productions of monologues of stories from people who have experienced homelessness will be performed by actors all around LA County, increasing awareness around
the homeless crisis facing Los Angeles and raising funds for The Midnight Mission, an amazing nonprofit organization on Skid Row. The Homeward LA organization, led by nonprofit arts professional Jason Lesner (linkedin.com/in/jlesner/), is on track to partner
with 20+ arts/civic venues around LA County. If successful, Homeward LA intends to turn this inaugural event into an annual one to further raise visibility (and funds) for ending homelessness. 100% of proceeds will go directly to The Midnight Mission.
·
Martin Schoeller, a local photographer has created an Instagram project featuring homeless and their stories as a fundraiser for a local food coalition:

·
