Our public library hosts a piece that was a project with our sheriff's office, to obtain parts of confiscated weapons and craft them into a sculpture of a dove.  It's inside the library for the moment but everyone's looking for the right outdoor location for permanent siting.

Hello PAN,

I am looking to colleagues for examples of any type of projects that involve turning guns into public art, particularly through government administered buyback programs. Any insights on successes, challenges and lessons learned would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
