I have no direct connection with any of these projects or the artists. They are just examples kindly suggested to me by
Lisa Tuttle, Public Art Education & Outreach Coordinator for Fulton County Art & Culture, when I was researching examples of public art in municipal parks two years ago. It is my understanding that there are four other “playable” public art projects
in the same Park in Sandy Springs, GA, but I don’t have images or links for the other four.

Subject: Examples of playground equipment public art
Hi all, I have a client that is looking for examples of public art projects that were designed from the outset to play a dual role as interactive playground equipment. The client's budget is approximately $50-75,000.
I suspect that there are probably liability issues and playground equipment standards that have to be met in order to produce something like this. If any of you can educate me about such things I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!
