Dear Fellow Art Coordinators,
As noted below, I’ve been asked to meet with a neighborhood to help come up with ideas to beautify an existing bridge rail owned by the City. I’ve alerted our Engineering, Transportation and Public Works staff
about this project. I have some thoughts, but wondered if any of you have worked on a project like this and used anything but paint. If so, please send photos.
Thanks!

Subject: Westchester PID-Bridge Painting-Polo Road between Carrier and Bardin
Good Morning Tammy
The Westchester PID board is considering hiring an artist to decorate the bridge shown below, located on Polo Road between Carrier and Bardin. They had been considering
adding brick/stone facing to it, but that would add about 50 tons of weight to the bridge. They love the traffic signal box art and the I-30 intersection artwork. Could you give the board some direction for this project?
The walls are 150’ long and 4’ tall and are shown below.
I am copying Amber Anderson (Westchester PID’s property manager & Vision Communities Management company owner) on this message.
Thank you! Have a good weekend!
