Hello all!
David Turnbull, formerly the Conservation Director is now the Public Art & Conservation Director here in Edmonton – we also have a full time Public Art Conservator and Conservation
Assistant on staff. The departments were amalgamated in 2017 to facilitate an integrated approach to growing and preserving the City of Edmonton Public Art Collection. Last year the conservation team worked on more than 30 artworks, assessed 200, and conducted
routine maintenance. They are very busy!
We are very fortunate to be one of the few municipal public art programs with a conservation staff.
I can put you in touch if you like
Best

Subject: Re:list of Public art programs with a conservator on staff
I know that the Edmonton public art program in Alberta, Canada has a conservator on staff. Metro Art in Los Angeles (public transit) also has a part time in-house conservator and their Collections
Manager does some conservation too. Let me know if you want contacts at either of these places.
