Hi Anne -

We currently use a mash-up of MS Office tools to manage and monitor projects (mostly Outlook and Excel). We’ve used online software Basecamp as a partial management tool, but have recently cancelled that subscription in favor of free online tools Google Drive and MS OneDrive. The City of Austin uses an online tool specific to our city for project management, but AIPP does not yet have access to it – we hope to rectify this soon.

Please do share the results of your research, will you? I’d love to know what software other programs are using successfully.

I am researching Project Management Software. If your program uses this tool, I would like to know which software you’d had success with. Let me know too if there were any you tried and did not find to be a good fit—and why. Finally, if you’ve used Microsoft Project I would like to hear your experiences with it.
