Our Town Application Webinars: Register Now!

Our Town grants support place-based and knowledge building projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into efforts that strengthen communities by advancing local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes.

Applications are due on August 9 (one month earlier than last year), with funding available on July 1, 2019.

Register now for our webinars to learn all you need to know about the application process:

·     How to Apply - June 20, 3:00 ET - presentation on the FY 2019 Our Town grant guidelines, how to apply, and an overview of the review process (register now)

·     Tips and Tricks for Success - June 27, 3:00 ET - presentation to assist applicants in crafting a compelling creative placemaking project application (register now)

Also, a reminder that SAM.gov has a new requirement that you submit an original, signed notarized letter to register or renew your organization’s registration, if it’s going to expire before the August 9 deadline. As recommended in our guidelines, we urge you to register/renew before July 19 and submit the SF-424 to Grants.gov by at least July 30. If your existing SAM.gov registration will NOT expire before August 9, we recommend waiting until after the deadline to renew your registration.

Apply for Art Works Grant

Art Works grants support arts projects that celebrate our creativity and cultural heritage, invite mutual respect for differing beliefs and values, and enrich humanity. Grants range from $10,000 to $100,000, with a required minimum cost share/match equal to the requested grant amount.

Please note Design does not receive applications at this deadline; the next opportunity for Design Art Works is February 2019.
