Over the course of a year, 700 to 800 students between ages 3 to 18, attend the Academy, both in daytime and nighttime. For many students and their families, the entrance to the Pittsburgh CLO Academy is their first experience of Downtown Pittsburgh. The goal of the project is to create a bright, fun, and celebratory environment that is welcoming to young musical theatre students and their families as they approach and enter the building.

The Office of Public Art has been hired to facilitate an artist selection process and provide project management for the artwork commission. The selected artist(s) will enter into a contract with Pittsburgh CLO Academy. The Office of Public Art is facilitating the artist selection process for this project. Qualifications submitted through this RFQ will be reviewed by a selection committee.
