The Rainbow Crosswalks at the Castro and 18th street intersection in San Francisco were approximately $40K and included four crossings. This is pretty typical - you can estimate between $30-50K for one intersection. The company that manufactures the DuraTherm product is called Ennis-Flynt. They make the stencils and manufacture the material, but a contractor has to install. The contractor that typically does all of the decorative crosswalks is Asphalt Impressions.

Can anyone send me info on a rainbow crosswalk installation? I’m looking more specifically for vendor info and cost. We don’t want it painted we want thermoplastic or something similar that will be durable.

Thanks,
