I helped with the Portland Parks Skateboard Masterplan in the early 2000s. At that time skateboarders said they don’t usually want their skating surface painted as it makes it slick.

Has anyone ever done a project where a mural was painted on the bowl of a skate park?  If so, how did it work out and do you have a suggestion for materials?  I would appreciate any input.
