I’m attempting a summary of how the public art field has changed and how arts administration has become increasingly professionalized in the last 20 years – even in the last 10. Does anyone have something like this already written? Or any studies you might point to? Or just basic comments from anyone summarizing changes you seen and how the field has become more complex and demanding would be great.
