Hello PAN Pals,
We are establishing a permit for artists to install temporary public art on city property. There is an area on the permit to supply contact info of a PA State licensed engineer
that will be reviewing the project. Since most work will be ephemeral, I’d like to explain in the permit that this is only needed for works that__________ (Maybe exceed a certain weight or some other characteristic)
I will consult my Public Works team to see what they feel comfortable according to City codes, etc., but am wondering if in our field there is some rule of thumb that I am
not aware of.
