The CHF
Art-Business
Accelerator is a yearlong, intensive and interactive business-education program for working artists. Each year, CHF selects a handful of applicants
to receive an award of life-changing education aimed at transforming working artists into thriving artists. Why shouldn’t the art-entrepreneurs in our culture prosper and achieve their goals? CHF injects the missing ingredients for a successful career, so
that artists who graduate can make a name for themselves.
Fellows for Life
Lifelong relationships, contacts, and collaborative opportunities are part of what drive our Art-Business Accelerator. Fellows have engaged in skill exchanges, contact
referrals, and collaborative learning, as well as produced joint shows, appeared on panels, created and marketed collaborative art, and formed critical networks of peers and art leaders.
Curriculum
The learning format is blended—a mix of live remote workshops and labs, digital coursework, and community interaction. Fellows master nine practice areas, creating
a career blueprint, developing a brand story, adopting a sales strategy, and planning a pivotal business project, including producing an investment-grade project proposal. All of it is designed to ensure that Fellows acquire a business skill set that will
serve them throughout their careers.
The Particulars
The program requires a 12-month commitment in 2019. There is no cost to participants, but the selection process is rigorous, and only 20 working artists will be awarded
a Fellowship. The application process starts
