Hello Public Art Professionals,
We seem to have hit a tipping point of local artists, some galleries and other form of arts promoters who wish to display works of art in civic offices or other city owned venues’ spaces (i.e. airport lobby on easels) to ideally sell the
art while showcasing local artists or the organization. This is combined with the tipping point of (new) city employees asking for public art in private offices.
Therefore, I’m looking for examples of policies or programs that deal with ways art can be temporarily displayed, protected, insured, promoted as for sell and the whole host of other issues that come along with such scenarios.
Thank you!
