You are receiving this communication because certain materials were recently sent to your organization, promoting the University of Florida’s Art in State Buildings (ASB) solicitation for IFAS Bee Unit - UF ASB 620. Included in these materials were records which schematically depict the internal layout and structural elements of a university facility. Such records are highly sensitive and expressly exempt from the disclosure requirements of Florida’s public records law, pursuant to Section 119.071(3)(b), Florida Statutes*. While the university may release such exempt records to qualifying entities like your own, these entities are in turn required to maintain the exempt status of the records they receive.

It has come to our attention that some recipient organizations have posted these materials online. If your organization is among these, we respectfully ask that you immediately remove all statutorily exempt records from publicly accessible websites, in compliance with state law. Your prompt assistance in rectifying this situation is greatly appreciated.
