Hello Fellow Public Art  Administrators,

 

We have been asked by our ABQ Fire department to include public art for a new fire station that they have started to design.  Instead of coming in completely after the fact,  they have request that an artist become a member of  the design team working in developing the new station  for the City. 

 

We haven’t incorporated an artist as an member of a design team in sometime and would like to see successful models of how other programs have done this recently.  I am looking for any recent examples of RFQ’s  that seek artist/artist teams to join the  design team process that will also  ultimately lead to a public art work.   Any examples would be helpful.
