Yes, we hosted our two mayoral candidates about 8 weeks prior to the election

We took questions in writing from the audience that were screened before they were handed to the moderator.

How did you share information from the forum with your constituents or stakeholders?
We used Facebook Live

Any lessons learned or words of wisdom?
We received a lot of praise and gratitude for having done it. The candidates were also appreciative. We also learned about some confusion and misconceptions about
what we are and do (arts councils+UAFs are wonky) and started immediately to get out a clearer message.

Another question related to the fuzzy line between the UAF's role in the public/private sectors...
I recently had a conversation with the fabulous Flora Maria Garcia at United Arts in Orlando. She mentioned that she has hosted Mayoral Forums prior to a primary with questions geared to understand
each candidate's position on matters related to arts, culture and quality of life. We are thinking about doing this in Fort Wayne.
