Hi Everyone,
I hope that you are all staying safe and healthy. I am forwarding this from the main members listserv. Hopefully you have already received this, but if not, please take a look. Please read below about our new Response and Resource Center
to the coronavirus (COVID-19), and please take a moment to respond to the short economic impact survey
so that we may gather as much information about the economic impact of this crisis on the arts and culture community. Please share this with the organizations in your networks so that we can get as broad a picture as possible. I encourage all of you, our
UAF friends to complete this survey as we will try and find ways to overlay this data with our current UAF, AEP and LAA data that can provide a view of how this is affecting the UAF field.
Americans for the Arts is offering a
free webinar tomorrow for anyone interested on how the arts can move through this crisis. Please share with your communities.
Be well and please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
From:

Subject: [Americans for the Arts] ANNOUNCING: Field Survey and New Response and Resource Center
Hello/hola, esteemed colleagues:
We have been carefully monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) disease crisis as I’m sure all of you have been. We shared some
resources last week and have additional information to share with you today. We have established a
Response and Resource Center where we will share updates on a daily basis. This will include preparation information, funding/grants, resource pages and much more.
In response to numerous inquiries around advocacy efforts and data collection, we are
launching a
brief survey to begin gathering data and stories from around the country on the economic impact of the Coronavirus on arts and culture communities. This will give us a strong foundation as we work to promote the inclusion of the arts and culture sector
in any stimulus package options and other Federal relief measures. We will have a link to share early next week that will give everyone in the field real-time
access to aggregated data that can be manipulated to gain insights at the local level.
If you have any questions, resources to share or articles that might be of interest, send them along to
services@artsusa.org.
We’re here to help!
