Good morning fellow arts and culture champions! Reaching out from York PA to see if any of you have recommendations on a consultant you’ve worked with recently.  As part of our latest strategic plan, the Cultural Alliance of York County is seeking a consultant to help it identify new or expanded revenue sources and put together a revenue plan. As philanthropy changes across the country, including the reduction of corporate giving campaigns and volunteer solicitors, we want to tap an expert to help optimize our existing resources and conduct research on how other communities are innovating their fundraising for the arts.

We have a consultant in our area that I know could do this project and has already submitted a proposal, but our board wants to make sure we’re not missing an opportunity to work with someone outside of our region who will bring a new perspective. So, if you have done a similar research project or know a consultant that would absolutely be an amazing resource, please let me know.  I don’t want to get a second proposal just to check a box, so relying on your recommendations before reaching out to a second option.
