Hello!

I’ve got a few things to share with you all today:

  1. Early-bird registration for our annual Convention ends today! Save up to $100 and register today! http://convention.artsusa.org/

  1. Does your community have a business leader who champions the arts? Do they understand the arts create vibrant work places? Do they believe that the arts can encourage cultural equity? Do they know that the arts mean business?

If so, we need your help getting to know them! Nominate yourself or someone you know to serve on the Business Committee for the Arts Advisory Board. The BCA is comprised of business leaders who are passionate about the role the arts play in advancing business goals and transforming communities. Members serve as ambassadors for the mission of the BCA and of Americans for the Arts.

Please visit the BCA website for more information and share this with your networks.

  1. Our annual Survey of Business Contributions to the Arts has launched and we need your help encouraging businesses in your area to complete the survey! The survey is being conducted by The Conference Board and Americans for the Arts. It will take no more than 10 minutes to participate. The deadline to respond is close of business on April 23, 2018.

The findings from this short survey will be detailed in The Conference Board's Business Contributions to the Arts: 2018 Edition and shared with all survey respondents. This year we continue to track corporate support for the arts as well as partnerships between arts organizations and private businesses. In the 2017 edition, we found that businesses are using the arts as a means of increasing employee engagement, attracting and retaining talent, and that business investment in the arts has held steady since 2013.

The survey is open to businesses of all sizes that participate in arts-related corporate philanthropy, employee engagement, and/or volunteer or sponsorship programs. Want information specific to your community, email epeck@artsusa.org to find out more information.

  1. If you are interested in conducting this survey in your local community and receiving a report tailored to your area AFTA, in partnership with the Conference Board is now offering this service. Please email me or Emily Peck (epeck@artsusa.org) separately for more information.

Many thanks!
