Dear UAF friends:

For those of you at the recent UAF retreat, you know we were going through succession planning and our search committee was getting ready to announce their choice for the incoming President as Mary Anne looks forward to retirement at the end of this year. Mary Anne and I are both happy to announce that this past Tuesday, they announced that it will be me (photo of us from our annual meeting attached).

I so look forward to continuing to work with all of you, and utilizing this ListServ to glean info and advice from you all! Thanks for your support and words of encouragement during the search.
