All,

Really appreciate your swift answers today! I compiled your responses in the attached Excel Document. I also took a peek at your 2016 990s on Guidestar to get a better idea of how public funding contributes to your overall campaign results and revenues, and the percentage of those revenues that you use for grantmaking. Interesting results. When you've met one UAF, you've met one. (Caveat: the details havn't been reviewed; so apologies for any typos or errors.)

Call me a nerd, but it was time well spent to do some benchmarking on this issue. A significant component of our programming is the ownership and development of Arts Campus venues (as part of a 7-venue cultural district in downtown Fort Wayne). We are embarking on a very large capital campaign to renovate our flagship community theatre. In the context of growing our downtown footprint, currently supported with very limited public funding that is at risk of being cut any year, our board is looking seriously at a variety of local taxpayer-sourced funds as potential sustainable operating and grant revenue. We are a very fiscally conservative community, so wish us luck!

Best,
Susan
