We know all of our arts colleagues are sadly aware there will never be enough funding to help our sector recover from the devastating impacts of COVID-19. NCAPER  (the National Coalition for Arts’ Preparedness and Emergency Response) is collecting information on the options which are being discussed and acted upon, beyond more emergency funding, for arts organizations in distress.

We know you are flooded with surveys, so we’ve kept this one brief – just thirteen questions - and is intended for the leadership of the country's arts funders/service organizations specifically.

NCAPER’s Arts Organizations at a Crossroads (OAX) field scan –  not a scientific collection of data, but to help us understand what actions and resources are needed in the field - seeks your help in collecting information about existing efforts/resources specifically focused on helping arts organizations facing a potential severe restructuring or permanent closure. Our goal is to advance the awareness of and conversation about options to permanent closure, and assist organizational Executive Leadership and Governance in their efforts. We would appreciate any specifics or resources you are able to provide in our brief questionnaire. All “organization-specific” information collected within the survey will be kept confidential. For more information on NCAPER's OAX project, view  this Fact Sheet, or contact us at  motoole@ncaper.org.
