The Association of Performing Arts Professionals Conference is having their annual conference right now (virtually) and tomorrow they have an info session on this exact topic. I know you have to be a member to attend, but the membership fees right now are “no-barrier” and the conference is also similarly inexpensive. I am planning to attend this session and will do my best to share any info learned.

Looking for advice, clarity and any support with messaging around this. 

 

I suspect some of you are starting to hear, as I am, that arts organizations that are venues have some big decisions they need to make as to whether they’ll want to apply

 

 

 for PPP or the new Shuttered Venue Operator Program (formerly known as the Save our Stages campaign). It appears thatorganizations will probably not be allowed to apply to both. They certainly cannot receive both.
