Dear Arts Advocate,

A gentle reminder that the Public Leadership in the Arts Award nomination deadline for Mayor and Governor is fast approaching. If your mayor or governor has been a champion for the arts and culture, please consider nominating them by Wednesday, November 27th (original deadline was 11/23).

Since 1997, Americans for the Arts has recognized elected officials at various levels of government (Federal, State and Local) with our Public Leadership in the Arts Awards. These awards honor an individual or group who advance of the arts and arts education within their communities and whose vision and leadership provide heightened visibility to the value of the arts. Americans for the Arts is pleased to partner with the various associations of elected officials to present these awards.
